Russ advises on the development, delivery and financing of complex infrastructure, energy and transportation projects, including through public-private partnerships, progressive design-build and other alternative delivery models. Russ works with sponsors, lenders and public authorities on major transactions across the United States. 

Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Russ was an associate at a leading international law firm, where he represented clients in a broad range of domestic and cross-border finance transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, project financings, and mezzanine financings. He also served as in-house counsel at a transportation technology startup, where he led regulatory and government affairs efforts and supported strategic initiatives in a highly regulated, safety critical industry.
